Limited access to wall outlets can become inconvenient in smaller homes, particularly when sockets are blocked by furniture. A conventional power strip can provide a quick way to connect several devices to a single outlet.
Aldi will offer a new Workzone power strip from Saturday, November 7, priced at €14.99. It will be available in white and black, with a two-metre cable matching the selected model.
The strip includes eight grounded power sockets, one USB-A port and one USB-C port. Its maximum rated power is 3,680 watts, which can be enough to charge devices such as phones, tablets and consoles at the same time. It may also support a higher-consumption appliance, such as a 2,000-watt heater, provided the total load remains within the stated limit.
That maximum should not be exceeded, as using multiple sockets at once can increase the risk of overloading. The product is intended as a practical option for rooms with too few wall outlets, without requiring electrical work.
For those who cannot visit an Aldi store or miss the offer, the source also mentions an Amazon alternative priced at €21.99. That model provides 10 sockets and four USB ports, along with two independent switches, and is available in two colours.
