Amazon has launched an early Black Friday offer on the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The 256GB model is listed at €1,466.10, down from its €1,629 launch price. The discount amounts to €162.90, or 10%, and requires shoppers to activate a coupon on the product page.

The offer places the iPhone 18 Pro Max below the official price of the smaller iPhone 18 Pro. Apple’s 6.3-inch model costs €1,479 for 256GB at its official price, while Amazon lists it at €1,331 instead of €1,479.

The discount is particularly notable because Apple increased the prices of its Pro models by €150 at launch without increasing their memory capacity. According to TrendForce, memory accounts for around 34% of the component cost of the 256GB iPhone 18 Pro, compared with 10% a year earlier. The phone still includes 12GB of RAM, matching the previous generation.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max keeps a 6.9-inch OLED display, an aluminium frame and a matching glass back. Its Dynamic Island is smaller and can show up to three live activities at once. The phone weighs 249 grams, compared with 231 grams for the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Inside, the device uses Apple’s A20 Pro chip, manufactured on a 2-nanometre process and supported by a vapour chamber for cooling. The camera system retains three rear sensors, while the main camera adds a variable aperture ranging from f/1.48 to f/4. Apple also includes manual Pro controls for aperture, focus, shutter speed and white balance.

Battery life benefits from a larger battery and improved thermal management. The phone is reported to last through a day of intensive use, while fast charging reaches 50% in 19 minutes and a full charge takes around one hour and seven minutes.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max went on sale on 18 September 2026, making the early 10% reduction notable only a few weeks after launch. However, Amazon’s price may change before Black Friday on 27 November, and there is no guarantee that the offer will remain available until then.

At €1,466.10, the iPhone 18 Pro Max costs €12.90 less than the iPhone 17 Pro Max did at launch, effectively offsetting the €150 increase introduced by Apple for the new Pro generation. Black Friday promotions typically begin with early offers in November, followed by wider campaigns around Black Week, Black Friday and Cyber Monday on 30 November.
