Apple reported $57.58 billion in iPhone revenue in its fourth-quarter earnings report, a 17 percent increase from the same period a year earlier. The company set a record for iPhone sales despite not releasing a standard model as part of its latest refresh.
The increase followed September’s launch of the iPhone 18 lineup, which included the higher-priced iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Apple also raised prices on older models. The company’s first folding phone, the iPhone Duo, was announced during the period, but its preorder sales were not included in the results.
Apple said supply constraints and higher memory costs affected its products. CEO John Ternus told CNBC that increased memory costs compared with the June quarter were partly offset by inventory on hand and lower costs for non-memory components. The iPhone Duo had limited availability in stores at launch, and some estimated shipment dates extended into 2027.
Apple’s overall revenue rose 12 percent to $114.5 billion. Mac revenue increased 24 percent to $10.79 billion, while Services revenue reached $31.57 billion. iPad revenue fell 10 percent year over year to $6.23 billion.
