Booking.com’s Genius loyalty program offers members discounts of up to 20% on eligible accommodation and 15% on car rentals, according to a WIRED guide to the company’s promotions. The savings depend on a member’s tier and booking history, and travellers need to sign in to access Genius offers.

Level 1 members can get 10% off selected stays and car rentals. After five bookings within two years, Level 2 offers discounts of up to 15%; Level 3, reached after 15 bookings in two years, offers up to 20% off stays and 15% off rentals. The guide also notes that some offers may include free cancellation or other perks, depending on their terms.

The listed accommodation deals include nightly prices starting at $18 in Istanbul, $67 in Paris, $32 in Cancún and $128 in Las Vegas. These are advertised prices and may vary by availability and booking details.

The guide also describes a Genius Rewards Visa Signature Credit Card, which has no annual fee and offers travel credits on eligible bookings: 6% for bookings made through the Booking.com app and 5% on other travel booked through the site. New cardholders can receive $150 in travel credits after spending $1,500 within the first 90 days, subject to the offer’s terms.

For car rentals, eligible Genius members can save 10% by signing in and choosing a rental marked with the blue Genius label. The guide says cardholders can also earn 5% in travel credits on car rentals when paying with the card.

Cruise offers highlighted in the guide include up to $1,000 in onboard credit for qualifying sailings departing on or before December 31, 2027. The amount depends on the total cruise booking price, which excludes travel protection, port charges, port expenses and taxes. The guide also describes an option to secure a cruise booking with a non-refundable $25 fee while Booking.com advances the cruise line deposit, up to $500; the deposit is charged 10 days before the final payment is due.

Discount codes and offers may apply only to particular bookings and may not combine with other promotions. The guide advises checking the terms and final price before booking.
