Netflix has announced a multiyear deal with YouTuber, comedian, and influencer Druski. Under the agreement, Druski will create original content exclusively for the streaming service.
The first project is Collect & Praise, a semi-scripted comedy series in which Druski plays a megachurch pastor. It is scheduled to debut on Netflix on December 1 and will be the first of several original projects planned with Druski and his production company, 4LIFERS Entertainment.
Netflix will also license other Druski series, including Coulda Been Love, Coulda Been Daddy, and Coulda Been Records Auditions.
The agreement is part of Netflix’s broader push to bring established online creators to its platform. The company has previously announced deals with YouTubers such as Mark Rober, Ms. Rachel, and Good Mythical Morning.
