Curve Games and Coyote House Games have officially confirmed that Dumpster Gang will expand its platform availability to consoles in March 2027. The announcement was made during the Nintendo Indie World Showcase, revealing versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Additionally, the title is scheduled to be included in the Xbox Game Pass library upon its console release.

Prior to the console launch, the game will make its debut on PC on December 3, 2026. It will be available through Steam and the Xbox app for PC, with immediate inclusion in the PC Game Pass subscription service. A free demo is already accessible on these platforms, allowing players to experience the tutorial and the first two levels of the cooperative chaos.

In Dumpster Gang, players assume the roles of a gang of raccoons driven by an appetite for trouble. The core gameplay loop involves exploring environments, rummaging through dumpsters, stealing various objects, hoarding food, and committing minor crimes. The experience is designed to be played solo or in cooperative sessions supporting up to four players, emphasizing teamwork to carry heavy items, solve puzzles, and rescue captured teammates.

A central challenge in the game is evading a dangerous Exterminator who seeks to capture the small criminals as they cause mayhem. To escape traps, players must utilize raccoon agility to climb walls, traverse ventilation shafts, and access hard-to-reach areas. Beyond the missions, players can return to their hideout to decorate it with stolen treasures and customize their characters with different hats.
