HBO Max will add new programming to its Brazilian catalog between November 2 and 8, 2026. The week’s highlights include the fourth season of The Gilded Age and the second season of City of God: The Fight Rages On, alongside films, animation and new episodes of ongoing series.

Already available, The Gilded Age returns with its fourth-season premiere. The historical drama continues to portray the struggle for prestige and influence among New York’s upper classes. Bertha Russell works to strengthen her family’s position, while Agnes van Rhijn attempts to regain the standing she lost amid social changes. Marian Brook considers the direction of her life, and Peggy Scott faces new challenges in her relationships.

On Monday, November 2, the platform will release the ninth season of The Show of Luna!, a Brazilian children’s animated series. Luna, her brother Jupiter and their ferret Claudio travel through the Amazon, investigating natural phenomena, animal species and regional characteristics. The season explores topics including the colors of Amazonian rivers, the habits of the pink river dolphin, and foods such as açaí and cassava.

Wednesday, November 4, brings The Da Vinci Code, the 2006 adventure mystery thriller starring Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou. The story follows Harvard symbology professor Robert Langdon as he investigates a murder at the Louvre in Paris with cryptographer Sophie Neveu. Clues at the crime scene point to hidden codes in works of art and historical symbols, as well as secrets connected to the Catholic Church.

The fifth episode of the first season of The Torment arrives on Friday, November 6. The HBO Max original follows a disgraced journalist who returns to her hometown and investigates the unresolved disappearance of a childhood friend, uncovering family secrets, crimes and old passions.

On Sunday, November 8, City of God: The Fight Rages On returns for its second season. The series focuses on escalating conflicts over control of the community following the death of drug trafficker Curió. Criminal groups, political figures and militias compete for power, while Berenice challenges corruption and Jerusa seeks revenge after a tragedy affects her family. The return of Cenoura, following his release from prison, threatens to change the balance between rival factions.

The same day will also feature the second episode of The Gilded Age’s fourth season, the fourth episode of the fourth season of Largados e Pelados Brasil, and new episodes of Get Jiro. The survival reality show follows ten new participants from across Brazil as they attempt to endure a severe drought in South Africa’s Savanna Negra. Get Jiro, an Adult Swim animated series based on Anthony Bourdain’s graphic novel, is set in a futuristic Los Angeles where chefs hold the greatest power and food determines social status.

HBO Max has not yet announced its complete November schedule, so the lineup may be updated.
