Microsoft has revealed the Xbox Series X-BITE, a one-of-a-kind edition of its console built into an alligator sculpture measuring more than 1.5 metres. The company says it will raffle the creation to a player in the United States.

The design shows the console as if it had been swallowed by the reptile, in a nod to GTA 6’s planned November 19 release. In a post on Xbox Wire, the company described the promotion as a trip to Florida, citing the state’s wildlife and memorable places.

The campaign comes as Rockstar Games and Sony promote GTA 6 through a PlayStation marketing partnership. The game’s final trailer says the “best experience” is on PS5, and Sony also unveiled GTA 6-themed PS5 controllers in September.

Xbox’s alligator-themed promotion refers to Florida but does not directly mention GTA 6 or display its logo. The creature was made by animatronics specialists at John Nolan Studio, whose work includes The Witcher, Jurassic World: Dominion and HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series. The Xbox logo appears on the alligator’s eye, while its mouth serves as a stand for a customised Xbox controller.

To enter, participants must live in one of the 50 US states or the District of Columbia. They must follow Xbox on X, Instagram or TikTok, share the official giveaway post, add #XbiteSweepstakes to their repost and keep their account public so the entry can be verified.
