PEAK Design is expanding its charging lineup with wireless chargers and accessories designed around premium materials and added functionality. The company, known for its backpacks and travel bags, says the new products include what it describes as the world’s first Qi2.3-certified wireless charger.
The $99.95 Wireless Kickstand Travel Battery has a 5,000mAh capacity and comes in black or moon, a cream finish. Its magnetic housing is made from machined anodized aluminum and includes a folding kickstand. When connected to a USB power source, it can wirelessly charge compatible devices at up to 25W. Running on its battery alone, wireless charging is limited to 15W.
Also priced at $99.95, the Wireless Charging Station 2-in-1 supports Qi2.2 and has two 25W wireless charging pads that can operate at full power simultaneously. One pad sits on a base made from die-cast aluminum and zinc; the other is mounted on an adjustable arm that folds flat for travel. The station is available in the same two colors as the travel battery.
Neither wireless charger includes a power adapter. Peak Design is also introducing a $64.95 Dual Slim Charger, which uses GaN technology and measures half an inch thick. Its two USB-C ports deliver up to 65W of power.
The new USB-C UltraStrand Cables are priced from $24.95 to $39.95. The 60W, 480Mbps version comes in lengths from 15 centimeters to 2 meters, while the 240W, 40Gbps option ranges from 15 centimeters to 1 meter.
Most of the new accessories are available starting November 3. The Wireless Kickstand Travel Battery and some cable lengths are scheduled to arrive on November 5.
