The Xiaomi Tag, a tracker for everyday items such as keys and wallets, is currently listed on AliExpress for €11.42, with free shipping from Spain. The listed price at Amazon, PcComponentes, Xiaomi, MediaMarkt and El Corte Inglés is €14.99, though prices and availability may change.
The tracker is compatible with Android phones and iPhones. It does not include ultra-wideband (UWB) technology or Apple’s U1 chip, so it lacks the precise on-screen directional guidance offered by some trackers. It can, however, provide location results and ring through the app when the item is nearby.
The Xiaomi Tag has an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water. Its CR20230 button-cell battery is rated for around a year and can be replaced when depleted. A built-in hole lets users attach it to a key ring without buying a separate holder or adapter.
