Bend Studio, the PlayStation developer behind Days Gone, is reportedly working on a cooperative game planned for release sometime in 2027. Sources cited by MP1st say the project will not be a live-service title.

The game is also said to be separate from the Days Gone universe and already well advanced in development, potentially bringing an announcement closer. No further details about the project have been revealed.

Days Gone launched for PlayStation 4 in 2019. Bend Studio has not released another game since, and a reported sequel was ultimately dropped. More recently, the studio laid off 30% of its staff after a live-service project was cancelled.

According to the report, Bend Studio’s next game could be part of PlayStation’s 2027 release lineup. The available information comes from MP1st’s sources and has not been confirmed by the studio in the material provided.
