Lidl is adding a vertical dual-basket Silvercrest air fryer to its catalogue on Wednesday, November 11, for €75.64. Its stacked layout is designed to take up less counter width than air fryers with two side-by-side baskets, while allowing two dishes to cook independently.
The Silvercrest has two 4.75-liter compartments, for a combined capacity of 9.5 liters. It measures approximately 30 x 38 x 47 cm and has a rated power of 2,470 watts. Temperature can be set from 40°C to 240°C, and seven automatic modes are available.
Its height may be a drawback in kitchens with little clearance beneath upper cabinets: at 47 cm tall, the appliance could be difficult to position or use comfortably in a tight space.
For shoppers considering another vertical model, the report points to the Cecotec Cecofry DuoLevel 10000 on Amazon for €81.68. It has a 10-liter capacity, 2,400 watts of power and six preset programs. Prices may change.
