Samsung’s Galaxy A58 5G has appeared in China’s 3C certification database under model number SM-A5860. The listing confirms 5G connectivity and wired charging at up to 45W, matching the charging speed offered by the Galaxy A57.

The phone is expected to ship without a charger in the box, meaning buyers who do not already have a compatible adapter may need to purchase one separately.

Early reports suggest the A58 could retain much of the Galaxy A57’s camera hardware. According to information cited by GalaxyClub, the rear setup may include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is also tipped to remain at 12 megapixels. Changes to the sensors have not been confirmed.

The reported 5-megapixel macro camera first appeared in the Galaxy A51, launched in 2020. If the leak is accurate, it would remain part of Samsung’s mid-range lineup with the A58. The familiar camera specifications could mean the company is focusing upgrades on other components, though no such changes have been confirmed beyond speculation about a newer processor.

Samsung has not announced a launch date. The Galaxy A58 is expected to follow the A57’s release schedule, making March 2027 a possible launch window. The Galaxy A57 was announced on March 25, 2026.

For reference, the Galaxy A57 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an Exynos 1680 chip and a 5,000mAh battery. Its suggested European price was €579. Rumors put the A58 near €600, but its price has not been confirmed.
