The Starlink Mini X kit is on sale at Magazine Luiza for R$499 when shoppers apply the TECNO100 coupon before checkout. The offer allows payment in up to 12 interest-free installments of R$41.58 and advertises free shipping, though delivery benefits may depend on the address.
The package combines the portable Starlink Mini antenna with an additional Router Mini featuring Wi-Fi 6. The antenna itself has built-in Wi-Fi 5, while the extra router offers a stated coverage area of up to 120 square meters and support for as many as 235 devices. Starlink’s figures for the antenna’s integrated Wi-Fi are up to 112 square meters and 128 devices.
The antenna weighs 1.1 kg and is designed to be carried and set up in different locations. Starlink says it can deliver download speeds above 200 Mbps, but actual performance depends on the service plan, network conditions and location. A clear view of the sky is also needed, as obstacles such as trees and roofs can interfere with the satellite connection.
The Starlink Mini has an IP67 Type 4 rating when fitted with the appropriate cables and connectors. Its average power consumption is listed at 25 to 40 watts. For USB-C Power Delivery, the setup requires a compatible power source rated at least 100 watts with a 20 V/5 A output, as well as the appropriate Starlink cable. The additional router is intended for indoor use.
The portable setup may suit travelers, campers and people who need internet in rural or remote areas, provided they have a compatible service plan. The service subscription is charged separately from the equipment. Prices and coupon availability may change.
