Following an intense period of public voting, the finalists for the Xataka Verisure Awards 2026 have been officially announced. These products, selected by the community of readers known as xatakeros, will compete in a major technology celebration set to take place on November 17 at the Cines Capitol in Madrid. The selection process follows a three-phase mechanism used in previous editions. First, the public votes to select candidates for the final round in each category. Second, a jury composed of technology experts from Xataka and other media outlets votes for their favorites among these finalists. Finally, the combined votes determine the winners, who will be announced on November 17. The eligible products generally launched in 2026 or have confirmed release dates before the end of the year, with some exceptions made for products that missed the previous awards held on November 20, 2025.

The jury for the 2026 edition includes internal members from Xataka and Webedia Spain, such as Roberto Jiménez, María González, César Muela, and various editors including Javier Pastor, Amparo Babiloni, and Alejandro Alcolea. The external jury features experts like Ana Muñoz de Frutos from Computer Hoy, Christian Collado from La Razón, Espe Hernández from GizTab, Elena Santos (ChicaGeek), Carlos Santaengracia from Topes de Gama, Chema Flores from EL ESPAÑOL, Pablo Rosillo from dBeta, Álex Barredo from Mixx.io, Nerea Luis Mingueza from Lumi Lab, Esther Miguel from Webedia, Isabel Martínez from OpenAI, Antonio Ortiz from Monos Estocásticos, and Julián Estévez from the University of the Basque Country. A special jury for series and films includes representatives from SensaCine, Espinof, Motorpasión, and Xataka.

Attendees can secure free tickets to experience the gala in person at Cines Capitol through a dedicated link. For those unable to attend physically, the ceremony will be broadcast live via streaming on xataka.com. The event aims to support the holiday shopping season by highlighting the year's most significant technological releases.
