Adobe PDF Spaces is designed to help teams gather project materials and ask questions across them using Acrobat’s AI assistant. An individual workspace can hold up to 100 items, including PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, links and notes. It is available through Acrobat on desktop, the web and iOS and Android devices.

Users can ask the assistant to summarize the material or find specific details, such as project objectives, constraints, deadlines and pending decisions. Adobe says the assistant draws on documents in the workspace and includes citations linking its answers to the relevant passages, allowing users to check the information against its source. The assistant’s profile can also be tailored to different needs, with examples including data analysis and communications.

A workspace can be shared with colleagues, who can consult its documents and ask their own questions. Adobe says this lets team members explore a common set of materials according to their roles, while keeping project information and updates together. The feature also generates an audio summary; its script can be edited before the summary is shared. When a document in the workspace is updated, the shared version follows the update.

PDF Spaces is included in Adobe’s Acrobat Studio and Acrobat Express plans. Adobe added the sharing options to those offerings in May 2026. Recipients do not need an Adobe account to view a shared workspace.
