VALORANT has added Hush to its roster, making her the game’s 31st agent and ninth Duelist. The Chinese character, who comes from Guangdong, was first presented by Riot Games during the VALORANT Champions Grand Final in Shanghai and is now available on the game’s servers.

Hush is designed around precision and active control rather than straightforward explosive entry plays. Her telekinetic abilities allow players to alter the trajectory of certain utilities after they have been thrown, creating unexpected angles and opening space against defensive positions.

Her passive telekinesis expands her interaction range. Hush can retrieve a dropped Spike in exposed areas, pull weapons from the ground and activate switches or automatic doors from a safer distance.

Displacement can be thrown quickly or prepared with an alternate fire. While the device is in flight, players can reactivate it to redirect the capsule toward their crosshair. When it detonates, it creates a gravitational vortex that pulls nearby players toward its center. Targets that collide with walls, structures or teammates are concussed. The ability refreshes after Hush records two kills.

Flash is an airborne blinding tool that can also be redirected while traveling. This allows it to be sent over elevated cover and repositioned toward blind corners before exploding. Flow provides mobility through a gravitational anchor: when activated during a jump, it briefly makes Hush float before launching her in the locked direction.

Her ultimate, Suspension, sends a kinetic wave forward while following the player’s aim. When detonated, it affects a wide area and lifts struck agents into the air, leaving them vulnerable and removing the protection offered by their cover.

Nicholas Smith, an agent and weapons game designer at Riot Games, said the team wanted to explore a Duelist focused on precision and control without creating unfair mechanics. According to Smith, the central idea was to let Hush continue deciding where an ability goes even after it has been deployed.

The new agent may also create combinations with area-damage agents such as Raze and Brimstone, while initiators including Sova and Fade can help provide positional information. Barriers created by agents such as Sage and Deadlock can serve as surfaces for forcing collisions and triggering the concussive effect of Hush’s gravitational pull.

Hush also introduces the practical debut of VALORANT’s Agent Mastery system. Her mastery track is active in the client and offers sprays, titles and themed cosmetics as players complete matches with her.

Hush was released on October 27, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
